Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 16, 2026
1. Introduction
EasyClaw ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website (www.ezyclaw.com) and our Chrome browser extension EasyClaw – AI Browser Relay for OpenClaw (extension ID: naeanbdjhgjchiopliicmcokmcpdjool).
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Website Usage
When you use our website, we may collect:
- Account information (email, name) when you sign in with Google
- API keys that you provide for bot deployment (stored securely on our servers)
- Usage data and analytics through Google Analytics
2.2 Chrome Extension — Data Collected
The EasyClaw Chrome extension acts as a relay between your browser and your AI bot. When you use the extension, the following data may be collected and transmitted:
- Page content (text): The visible text content of the web pages you are actively browsing, only when you explicitly trigger the bot to read or interact with a page. This content is sent to our servers solely to fulfill your request.
- Current page URL: The URL of the tab you are on, sent when you ask the bot to navigate or read a page.
- Bot authentication token: A token stored locally in your browser (chrome.storage.local) that identifies your EasyClaw bot session. This token is never transmitted to third parties.
- User commands: The instructions you type to the bot in the extension side panel (e.g., "go to amazon.com", "click the buy button").
⚠️ The extension does not collect data passively. It only reads page content or URLs when you explicitly interact with the bot panel. It does not track your browsing history, record keystrokes, or access pages you have not directed it to.
2.3 Data NOT Collected by the Extension
- Browsing history or visited URLs (outside of active bot sessions)
- Passwords, form data, or payment information
- Cookies or session tokens from third-party websites
- Personal files or downloads
- Microphone, camera, or location data
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and maintain our services
- Process your bot deployments
- Improve our services and user experience
- Send you service-related communications
- Comply with legal obligations
4. Data Storage and Security
4.1 Website Data
API keys stored on our servers are encrypted and secured. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
4.2 Chrome Extension — Storage
- Local storage (chrome.storage.local): Your bot authentication token and extension preferences are stored locally in your browser. This data never leaves your device except to authenticate with EasyClaw servers.
- No persistent page content storage: Page content read during a bot session is processed in real time and is not stored on our servers after the response is delivered. It is held in memory only for the duration of the request.
- Session data: Conversation history within the side panel is stored locally in your browser session and is cleared when you close the panel or the browser.
4.3 Chrome Extension — Data Processing
When you send a command through the extension, the following processing occurs:
- Your command and any page content you requested are sent over HTTPS to EasyClaw servers.
- Our servers forward this data to the AI model you have configured (e.g., OpenAI GPT-4o, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, or Groq Llama).
- The AI response is returned to the extension and displayed in your side panel.
- No content is retained on our servers after the response is delivered.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only:
- With your explicit consent
- To comply with legal obligations
- To protect our rights and safety
- With service providers who assist us in operating our platform (under strict confidentiality agreements)
5.1 Chrome Extension — Data Sharing with AI Providers
When you use the extension with an AI model, your commands and any page content you explicitly request to be read are transmitted to the AI provider you have selected. The following third-party AI providers may receive this data:
- Anthropic (Claude) — Privacy Policy
- OpenAI (GPT-4o) — Privacy Policy
- Google (Gemini) — Privacy Policy
- Groq (Llama) — Privacy Policy
Data is only sent to the AI provider configured in your bot. EasyClaw does not share your data with AI providers outside of your active request. Each provider's own privacy policy governs how they handle data submitted to their API.
We do not share extension data with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third party for marketing, analytics, or profiling purposes.
6. Third-Party Services
Our website uses Google Analytics to analyze website traffic. Google Analytics may collect information such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. This information is used solely for statistical purposes and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. The Chrome extension does not use Google Analytics or any other analytics SDK.
